Qantas grounded all its planes on Saturday 29th of October, in response to ongoing union action. All parties now have 21 days to work out a compromise. Julia Gillard's government tribunal, Fair Work Australia , terminated any further action by all parties, ordered mediation under threat of compulsory arbitration.
